Cancer screening and treatment
Your health is our priority, and when it comes to gynaecological cancers, we understand the additional stress and worry this can bring. It’s why we look to give simple, practical advice as well as expert diagnosis and pioneering treatment.
Cancers affecting the ovaries, womb, cervix, and other reproductive organs are much less common than breast cancer, but because the symptoms aren’t as easy to spot as breast cancers, it’s natural to for concern to run high.
Awareness and screening are absolutely key to catching them early, which is why we offer expert-led screening, diagnosis, and treatment, and referral for genetic advice to give you clarity, confidence, and the best chance for a successful outcome should you need treatment.
While gynaecological cancers are more common in women post-menopause, they can also affect younger age groups, so it’s important for everyone to stay informed and have regular check-ups – early detection really can save lives.
Some women are more likely to develop cancers such as breast, ovarian or womb cancer due to inherited gene changes. If you have close relatives who’ve had breast, ovarian, prostate, pancreatic or womb cancer – especially at a young age – you may be eligible for genetic testing. At HCA UK, we offer a dedicated genetic testing clinic where you’ll meet with a specialist genetic counsellor. If needed we’ll guide you to expert breast or gynaecology teams to support you every step of the way.
In addition to general gynaecological procedures, we provide expert surgical care for all types of gynaecological cancers, including ovarian, endometrial, and vulval cancer.
